About Rajput Indian Cuisine

Rajput Indian Cuisine was established in 1999 by Y. Paul Chhabra in Hampton, Virginia with the motto of providing a comfortable, Indian heritage inspires atmosphere and authentic home-style cooking. Mr. Chhabra has managed several restaurants and worked with renowned chefs from the USA as well from India. It is running successfully since then having won several awards & recognitions.

His future plans are to support the upcoming chefs & entrepreneurs in the industry including the vegan trend and cloud kitchen trend with his experience. He plans to build a supportive ecosystem for ambitious professionals providing them with A to Z services for opening and running a 21st-century food outlet and taking benefits from his experience.

Rajput goes above and beyond for their customers. There was a last minute mixup with delivery orders to the same building, but they DROVE and personally ensured me and the gal downstairs received our items. And this is on top of amazing flavors and hospitality whenever I go in to eat- AND they had great food at Taste of India this year. Truly a gem of Norfolk dining.

Amazing grace! I ate here on a Monday for dinner! It was an amazing dinner. I had the vegetable treat. Everything was tasty! 10/10. The tofu mango dish was delicious. Great vegetarian/vegan options.

I have taken my partner to the Chesapeake and Suffolk location. Had dimner at Suffolk and it was wonderful. Ive eaten at the Chesapeake location a handful of times enjoying especally the fresh lunch buffet option. This was not the case for the Norfolk store, the lack of luch buffet items and empty buffet line was a disappointment. I live close to the Norfolk store and thought I would try.. I will stick with the Chesapeake location, the atmosphere service and food are stars above this location unfortunately. Chef Robert M Welch.

I love the vegan buffet nights! It's a little pricey, but it's so good. 🤤 The service and atmosphere are always great.

My second dining experience here was amazing. As soon as you walk in, the aroma grounds you into the beautiful space. The staff was very kind. We ordered the 'curtain raiser' app, tandoori chicken tikka, and the chicken biryani. I also had the hot chai. I wish that did have more flavor. But each course was amazing! 10/10 experience. We'll be back for the buffet hours.
